How Long Does A Consultation Take?
If you decide to meet with us in person, on average the meetings last about one hour, the same goes for over the phone, but it can take longer depending on how much there is to discuss. For the first consultation we are happy to spend as long as it takes for us to piece together the information needed for your initial quote, and to answer any questions you may have.
Booking And Fees
Once we have met or discussed it all through with you, we will go away and create a tailor made illustrated quote for you based on all the information we have. Our first consultations are free and you are under no obligation to book with us!
If you would like to go ahead, we are happy to amend details based on your requirements and budget, and then once that is finalised, we will send you a deposit invoice.
Our deposits are 30% of the overall estimated grand total. This secures your wedding date with us and is non refundable. We appreciate that a lot can change during your wedding planning, so once the deposit is secured we can make amendments up until six weeks before your wedding date which is when we will send you your final payment invoice.
After this point, no more changes can be made.

Our Wedding Consultations
The main purpose of our wedding consultations are to have an informal chat with you about your weddings flowers, to gather ideas and get a sense of your vision, so that we can then go away and piece together an illustrated quote for you, based on what we have discussed.
We think it is so important for us (and you) to get to know one another better based on your needs, our ethos and approach to floral design.
This can be in person, via email, or telephone correspondence as we appreciate that many of the couples we work with are not local to us.
As you have probably seen, we have a very holistic approach to the way we work, and because of this the relationship with our couples, and the flowers are very important to us! We want to make sure it is the right fit for all involved.
What Information Do You Need From Me?
We are of course really happy to help you with your ideas, advise and show you examples, but we need some help to work out what your personal needs are. Once we have that information we can then go away and tailor make a floral plan based on our interpretation of your ideas.
Here are just a few examples of what to bring with you/ send over to us:
✶ Any inspiration/ visuals you may already have from either our website, wedding magazines or social media e.g Pinterest, Instagram etc.
✶ A rough idea of colour palette.
✶ An idea of bridal bouquet style and scale.
✶ An idea of numbers.
For example: How many bridesmaids bouquets & buttonholes will you require? Roughly how many table arrangements will you need?
✶ An idea of where you would like flowers installed.
For example: Do you require just bridal party flowers, or would you like the ceremony & reception dressed also?
✶ Do you have any special flowers that are meaningful to you, that you would like to be included (depending on seasonality and availability)?
✶ Do you have a budget we can work towards, or advise you on?
Please be advised that our first consultation is FREE, but if you would like to meet again before you officially book with us, then we do charge a fee of £50 per additional meeting, to cover the cost of our time.
All correspondence, and meetings once your deposit has been paid are free of charge.
Once you have booked with us, we are also happy to arrange a venue visit with you if this is required.
